About Utsav Celebration

On this sacred day, the rituals begin with the pious chanting of “Bho ho Dattaguru krupaya samagaccha…….” Jap 54 times.

Through this Jap (manaspuja), we invoke Lord Dattatreya to make us pure and worthy for HIM to dwell in.

We urge Him to cleanse us and wash off all impurities so that our Bhakti towards the Lord is as fragrant as the mesmerizing fragrance of sandalwood.  We do it to allow him to reside in our Sahastrarchakra.

It is followed by the recitation of  “Shree Ghorakashtodharan Stotra” composed by Shree Vasudevanand Saraswati.

After this “Shree Dattabavani” composed by Shree Rangavdhut Maharaj is chanted.

The entire atmosphere turns ethereal. Last but not the least, the prayer pf worship culminates with the mellifluous hymn of “Om Sai Shree Sai Jai Jai Sai Ram”.

Shree Vardhaman Vratadhiraj begins on the day of Dattajayanti. Our Sadguru has told us to perform this Vrata for 30 days to obtain the grace of Dattaguru in the following year.  Shree Vardhaman Vratadhiraj also ensures that we continue to obtain special vibration of Dattajayanti festival.

The celebration of Shree Dattajayanti and observance of Shree Vardhaman Vratadhiraj with utmost devotion not only increases our satvaguna and guruguna but also bestows upon us the divine grace of our Sadguru Shree Aniruddha Bapu.
